"It's Just Not Fair"This is what I was told approximately ten months after finding out that I had CRPS (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome).I had a laterially herniated disc at L3/L4 that crushed a nerve. This was was the traumatic event that set off the development of CRPS/RSD. Therefore, I had spinal fusion and a lamenectomy to remove the bad disc. After my initial surgery I have tried various surgical procedures and drug therapies for pain relief. Unfortunately, none of these have been able to provide relief.I continue to live with CRPS, always remembering there are others that are worse off than me. The pain does not go away, but it does and can for many others that are faced with this mysterious disease.I am now looking to raise money for a project that will enable people to live a more comfortable life. The end result will allow people to be dressed without the constant irritation from the clothing touching their skin. It should also afford them the ability to reduce the amount of daily pain medications that must be taken. If you ever need to chat, send me an email at adsl0601@gmail.com | Andrew S.
